Ian Saunders is a writer.

After attending film school in San Francisco, I returned to Southern California to live near my family. I have spent the last several years working with children as a full-time nanny.

I write adult fiction and children’s books. My work in both focuses on connection and loss, on the absurd and the heart-crushing and the things somewhere in between.

I appreciate a well-told story and a well-made garlic bread.

I dabble in photography and illustration.
